The Young Chemists Group of the Portuguese Chemical Society is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the Portuguese Young Chemists Meeting – 2PYCheM, to take place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd Abril, 2010, at the University of Aveiro.
Similarly to the first edition of this Meeting, 2PYCheM aims to promote the widespread of scientific knowledge among young Portuguese researchers working in Portugal or abroad.
This Meeting will be an important opportunity to promote scientific discussion and collaboration among young Portuguese researchers, in a pleasant and stimulating environment.

The city of Aveiro is included in the tourism region of Rota da Luz. The city is dominated by the drainage basin of the Vouga river which originates one of the most beautiful landscapes of the country: Ria de Aveiro. This land formation is responsible for the unique and extraordinary characteristics which define the region of Aveiro, such as the climate, fauna, flora, and even culture and gastronomy.
